MILBIE BENGE

Milbie Benge was born in California, and later lived in Kentucky before settling down in Austin, Texas. She studied painting with several notable artists including A.D. Greer and Dalhart Winberg, and Greer later became a close friend and mentor to Benge. Her work captures the serene and peaceful essence of each landscape she paints. Her arts been featured in many galleries across the United States from California to New York. Today she has a new passion: plein air painting, and now paints mainly in that style.
