A lush and expressive silk screen print that captures a dense, dramatic slice of a tropical rainforest. The composition is highly concentrated within a central vertical column, framed by broad white borders, giving it the appearance of a focused window into the jungle with branches and foliage so dense that they reach beyond the edges of the picture plane. The palette is dominated by rich greens and cool blues, with foliage rendered in intricate detail, featuring palm fronds, deciduous trees, and dense undergrowth. The water in the foreground is a dark, green, reflective surface dappled with sunlight and lily pads. Bright sun filtering through the canopy illuminates leaves at the top of the composition in brilliant yellow, creating a strong contrast with the deep shadows below. The edges of the central image are softened and speckled, suggesting the wild energy and movement of the natural landscape.
