This striking wall-mounted sculpture is a triumph in geometric precision, craftsmanship and composition. Constructed in concentric rings that draw the eye inward like tunnel or a tree’s growth rings, the piece opens with a wide outer carved band finished in a deep, patinated copper tone with subtle linear texture. Moving inward, warm, natural wood tones converge in distinct bands each with subtle, carved pattern textures. Near the center, a light wood ring with concentric ribbed grooves surrounds, circle of black and white striped Mexican onyx. Together, these meticulous layers create a hypnotic, meditative harmony of raw texture, earthy tones, and rhythmic geometric design.
