An origional oil on Masonite landscape painting that pictures a a tranquil scene with a muted and impressionistic feel. The piece is painted with lush and textured brushstrokes that give the entire canvas a rich, buttery surface. At the center is a river rendered in soft grays, blues, and lavender tones, reflecting the peaceful sky surrounding banks. The far bank is occupies by is a hazy stand of trees and foliage in subdued greens, yellows, and purples.
