A meditative and serene, abstract piece made of a combination of cast, handmade paper and color lithography.  The composition features a grid of geometric shapes including circles, ovals, and rounded triangles.  A conceptual piece perfect for contemplation and admiration.  It feature gray and earth tones on a natural paper background.  The craft of handmaking paper gives this piece a beautiful and delicate deckled edge.
 
The piece is unframed.  It comes with backing board and a pre cut, 3.5 inch brown matte.

Born in Frost Prairie, AR on Sept. 17, 1925. After graduating from Principia College in Illinois, Maxwell moved to southern California and did graduate work at Claremont College.
