DALHART WINDBERG
American, b. 1933
From Texas, where nature’s divine beauty generously drapes the vast countryside, there emerges an artist whose brush adds to it a fresh enhancement. Dalhart Windberg’s art does not merely copy the beauty of nature; it adds sensitivity. Influenced by the works of the European Masters, Windberg paints Texas as the Masters would. Frome nostalgic Western panoramas, to quiet woodland splendor, to the weathered character etched into the faces of the people, the land is reborn by his distinctive style.
Windberg’s smooth brush technique shines gentle light and casts soft shadows of fine detail on each of his subjects. So exciting is his detailed style that the crystal is a still life reflects the artist’s image.
The artistic intimacy of Windberg and his subjects is apparent in all his works. His versatility is bound only by the limits of what he sees and what touches him.
Dalhart Windberg is a member of the Texas Association of Professional Artists and the International Platform Association. He was selected as a first artist to be represented by the American Masters Foundation.
