We love these two original prints by Salvador Dali because of their similarities as well as their differences. On the left, we have an artist proof etching titled "Combat de Cavaliers" and on the right, we have lithograph titled "St. George Slaying the Dragon". Each print was executed in a different printing technique, etching vs. lithograph and even though the subject matter of each print is different, they both feature figures on horses holding lances. It is interesting to see how effortless both images seem to be while still depicting very expressive and descriptive scenes.
