APPRAISALS
Need to know what your art or antiques are worth?
George and Ann Attal of Austin Galleries have been appraising art and antiques for over 15 years. Mr. Attal specializes in 19th and 20th century American and European fine art paintings, prints, and sculpture. Mrs. Attal specializes in 18th, 19th, and 20th century American and European antiques and decorative arts.
Our appraisals are accepted by major insurance companies, banks, Internal Revenue, trust companies, attorneys, probate, and freight and shipping companies. Each appraisal is prepared in accordance with the 2006 Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice.
The purpose of an appraisal can be for any of the following reasons: insurance, damage/loss, equitable distribution, resale/inventory, estate, capital gains, charitable contribution, liquidation, disorderly liquidation or collateral; to determine replacement, fair market, marketable cash or salvage value.
Our appraisal rate starts at $175 an hour with a one hour minimum.

RESTORATION
Dirty or damaged paintings? Austin Galleries can clean, retouch, and repair your valuable fine art. Single pieces or large lots.
In most cases, the painting will need to be brought in to the gallery to obtain a quote for the restoration.
