Austin Galleries

Starting September 30th through October 24th, Austin Galleries will be hosting a juried sculpture exhibition for the Texas Society of Sculptors (TSOS). TSOS is a sculptors’ guild based in Austin, Texas, and was chartered in 1971 by the State of Texas as a non-profit organization. TSOS consists of over 170 members from all across the country. Members of this organization were encouraged to enter sculptures for the competition and included are a variety of mediums, including terra-cotta, bronze, stone, concrete, and mixed media. Styles range from classical to nonobjective. This exhibition will feature between 40-50 of the best sculptures entered by TSOS’s talented artists. There will be an Opening Reception, Saturday, October 3, 3-7 PM. Artists will be in attendance. Winners of the juried exhibition will be announced at this time. FREE
