Gerardo de leon Franchute

Gerardo de leon “Franchute” is a famous figurative painter within the current eclectic panorama of the plastic arts, based in Matamoros, Mexico.  His main subjects are people, especially women or young ladies. These are priceless.  He also enjoys painting some of the same characters painted by Picasso: musicians, indigenous women and girls on the verge of playing pranks.  His palette colors are ample but not garish with a tendency to be significantly balanced and frugal.
